ALGIERS – Wednesday, 28 June 2023 (APS) – President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Tuesday evening offered his wishes to the Algerian people on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, paying tribute to all workers who will be on duty on these blessed days.
The president of the Republic made an address to the Algerian people on the eve of Eid al-Adha, translated by APS as follow:
“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,
May the prayers of Allah be upon the last of the prophets and messengers,
Mohammed, and upon His Family,
My fellow citizens,
On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, I am pleased to offer you my best and most sincere wishes, whether you are in Algeria or abroad, praying to God to grant us his blessings and more stability, in a spirit of fraternity, solidarity and mutual assistance, which have always been demonstrated by our believing people.
I wish our people a blessed festival, May God lead us in the right direction for the good of our country, our nation and our brothers in occupied Palestine, wishing our pilgrims a safe return home.
I seize this happy occasion to pay tribute to all the workers who are on duty on these blessed days.
I pray to Almighty God to preserve the peace and tranquility He Has granted to us and to grant our brave martyrs His mercy.”
