ALGIERS – Saturday, 09 September 2023 (APS) – Algeria offered Saturday its sincere condolences to the brotherly Moroccan people, following the earthquake that hit the province of Al Haouz, in the southwest of Marrakech, on the night of Friday to Saturday, the ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad said in a statement.
“Algeria follows, with great sadness and deep affliction, the impact of the violent earthquake that struck many areas in the Kingdom of Morocco,” the statement said.
“In this painful ordeal, Algeria extends its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and to the brotherly Moroccan people, expressing deep compassion, and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.”
