ALGIERS – Sunday, 20 March 2022 (APS) – Six Algerian producers won the gold medal at Dubai Olive Oil Competition “DUBAIOOC.”
The Algerian brands that won the gold medal of this competition, during this edition devoted to early harvest olive oil, are oil producers Baghlia, Dahbia, Echarifa, El Asslia, Essehbya and Larbaa olive.
A total of 142 participants, representing 15 countries, won the gold award of this contest.
A jury, made up of specialists from several countries, met to evaluate the oils according to their fruits, smell, intensity and their balance, according to the contest’s organizers.
The winners will have the opportunity to market their products on the websites of the competition’s organizers and also through a network of luxury shops.
