ALGIERS – Thursday, 25 May 2023 (APS) – The Secretary General of the National Defence Ministry Major General Mohamed Salah Benbicha received Thursday in audience, at the headquarters of the Ministry of the National Defence, Lieutenant General Luciano Portolano, Secretary General of Defence and National Armaments Director at the Italian Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of National Defence said in a statement.
During this audience, “the two sides held bilateral discussions on fields of common interest, in the presence of director of the Military Manufacturing and director of Foreign Relations and Cooperation at the National Defence Ministry as well as members of the delegation accompanying him,” said the source.
After the audience “the two sides exchanged symbolic gifts,” added the source.
