ALGIERS – Thursday, 26 October 2023 (APS) – The speaker of the Tunisian Assembly of the People’s Representatives (APR), Brahim Bouderbala, on Thursday, in Algiers, stressed the convergence of views between the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and his Tunisian counterpart, Kais Saied, on issues of common interest.
Following the audience granted to him by the president of the Republic, Bouderbala emphasized “the convergence of views between the leaders of the two countries” on issues of common interest, underlining the importance of “establishing horizontal relations between the Algerian and the Tunisian peoples at all levels.”
“President Tebboune’s analysis of the situation we are living in and his forward-looking vision of Algerian-Tunisian relations reassure us about the present and the future of the two countries,” the Tunisian official said.
After conveying the greetings of President Kais Saied to President Tebboune, Bouderbala said “the Tunisian parliamentary delegation’s visit to Algeria, which is its first trip abroad, shows the strong ties between the two countries as well as their common present and future and their desire to build the future.”
The audience was attended by the speaker of the People’s National Assembly (lower house of Parliament), Brahim Boughali, and the chief of staff to the presidency of the Republic, Mohamed Ennadir Larbaoui.
