CONSTANTINE – Thursday, 17 August 2023 (APS) – The President of the High Council for Youth (CSJ), Mustapha Hidaoui kicked off the meetings of the Council’s specialized commissions in Constantine on Wednesday evening.

In a statement to the press on the sidelines of these meetings, Hidaoui said that the 8 CSJ commissions would be meeting in Constantine until August 24 to “debate, study and deal with a series of themes relating to young people and make proposals to improve the situation of Algerian youth.”

The meetings of the specialized commissions constitute “one of the organizational links of the CSJ”, underlined the same official, specifying that these commissions are considered as a “technical mechanism enabling the CSJ to debate all the ideas and proposals to be presented to the high authorities of the country in the service of young people.”

Recalling that the CSJ’s annual program has been approved about a month ago, Hidaoui indicated that “the specialized commissions will be meeting today in Constantine to discuss the priorities and projects contained in this annual program.”

The aim of these meetings is “to study the various concerns raised with the CSJ or collected and observed in the country’s various provinces in various fields such as employment, citizenship, sustainable development, solidarity, education and higher education.”

The projects, proposals and opinions that emerge from the meetings of these specialized commissions will be “officially made public,” said Hidaoui.
