CONSTANTINE – Monday, 15 May 2023 (APS) – The 5th International Tourism and Travel Show “Cirta-Siyaha 2023” kicked off Sunday at the arts community centre Malek Haddad, in Constantine, under the slogan “Constantine, a dream that continues” with the participation of 70 exhibitors.

A total of 70 public and private companies, tourism associations and operators form eight countries, namely Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, The Netherlands, Senegal and China, are participating in this even, organized under the patronage of Minister of Tourism and Craft Industry, the wali (governor) of Constantine and the Local Tourism Office (OLT), in collaboration with the provincial directorate of tourism and craft industry and the Club of the operators of tourism sector of Constantine.

The Show, which will be held until 16 May, will enable the participating operators to present their services in the field of tourism and travel, transport, hotel business, boking modern systems and hotel equipment.

A stand is devoted the financial companies, including banks, insurance companies and airlines, which will present their  support offers for tourism professionals in order to stimulate the sector, said the event’s organizers.

According to OLT’s head Rachid Yaici, the Show is an opportunity to exchange the experiences, conclude agreements between national and foreign operators as well as to build economic and commercial relations.

The event is also meant to shed light on Algeria’s tourist, cultural and historical potentials and to be a space for the promotion of Constantine’s tourist products and secular heritage.
