ALGIERS – Friday, 01 December 2023 (APS) – “The Declaration of Algiers” which culminated the works of the international Conference “Justice for the Palestinian People,” organized Thursday in Algiers, called to lodge a complaint before the office of the General Prosecutor of the International Court of Justice and initiate criminal proceedings against officials and authorities of the Zionist occupation, perpetrators of crimes against the Palestinian people, while extending thanks to the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune for hosting this meeting.
“The Declaration of Algiers for the justice for the Palestinian people” stressed the necessity of lodging a complaint before the office of the General Prosecutor of the International Court of Justice, in accordance with the established legal plan that will be borne by the follow-up committee, stemming from the conference.
The Declaration of Algiers called to initiate criminal proceedings against the perpetrators of crimes committed against the Palestinian people, notably the officials of the authorities of the Zionist occupation, before the courts which have adopted the principles of universal jurisdiction, adopted by the committee.”
In this regard, it is recommended to address the international organizations and authorities mentioned in the recommendations of the conference, in order to bring proceedings against the occupying Zionist entity.
