ALGIERS – Thursday, 20 July 2023 (APS) – The Speaker of the People’s National Assembly (Parliament’s Lower House) Brahim Boughali welcomed Thursday, in Algiers, the major diplomatic achievements of Algeria under the leadership of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, enabling the country to occupy a prominent place among the nations.
In a speech made at the wrap-up of the ordinary parliamentary session 2022-2023, Boughali welcomed “the major diplomatic achievements made by Algeria day after day, under the leadership of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune.”
“The warm welcome the President of the Republic received in Russia, Qatar, China and in the previous visits show the prominent place our country occupies nowadays among the nations.”
“All these signs of respect and consideration from friendly and brotherly countries make us proud as Algerians and augurs a radiant and promising future,” stressed Boughali.
Boughali hailed “Algeria’s commitment to its principles and convictions and to defending just causes and oppressed peoples, mainly the causes of the Palestinian and Sahrawi peoples.”
He underlined “the decisions and measures taken by the President of the Republic in a difficult situation thanks to his enlightened vision and wisdom, creating the conditions for our country’s takeoff, after keeping budget deficit under control and increasing the volume of non-hydrocarbon exports.”
