ORAN – Thursday, 23 November 2023 (APS) – Speaker of the People’s National Assembly (Parliament’s Lower House) Brahim Boughali stressed Thursday, in Oran, the increasing role of youth in preserving the country.
In a speech delivered on his behalf by the Lower House’s vice speaker, Bouchikhi El-Cheikh, in the opening ceremony of the 2nd Algerian Youth Forum, organized Thursday morning by the Higher Council of Youth, Boughali stressed the increasing role of youth in preserving their country, while working hard for its social and economic development.
Boughali said that “the ball is now in the court of the youth and we are moving towards the future at a steady pace, thanks to these people and the great skills they possess.”
This conviction is affirmed with each passing day, particularly with the measures taken by the State, led by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for the benefit of the youth in order to further involve this category in the social, economic, and political development, he said.
