ALGIERS – Monday, 11 December 2023 (APS) – The speaker of the People’s National Assembly (lower house of parliament), Brahim Boughali, on Sunday handed over a letter to the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to the new president of the Argentine Republic, Javier Milei, in which he expressed Algeria’s willingness to continue cooperation with Argentina in various fields, the lower house said in a statement.
The speaker of the People’s National Assembly (Lower House of Parliament), who attended the inauguration ceremony of the president elect of the Argentine Republic, in Buenos Aires, handed over a letter from the president of the Republic to his Argentine counterpart, in which he congratulates him for “the trust placed in him by the people of Argentina, wishing him great success in his presidency,” the statement said.
President Tebboune also expressed to his Argentine counterpart “Algeria’s willingness to continue cooperation with Argentina in different fields.”
Boughali had arrived Saturday in Buenos Aires to represent the president of the Republic in the inauguration ceremony of the new president of the Argentine Republic.
