ALGIERS – Sunday, 28 May 2023 (APS) – In his capacity as representative of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Speaker of the People’s National Assembly (Lower House), Brahim Boughali will attend the inauguration ceremony of Nigeria’s elected President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, scheduled for Sunday and Monday in Abidjan, said the assembly in a statement.
The inauguration ceremony will be attended by several guests including heads of state and governments and their representatives from Africa and elsewhere,” said the source.
The participation of Boughali in this event “reflects the depth of the friendship and cooperation ties between the two countries, which are among the largest on the continent, and confirms the cohesion of their positions on several African issues,” said the source.
