ALGIERS – Tuesday, 15 March 2022 (APS) – Prime Minister Aïmene Benabderrahmane received Monday at the Palace of the Government, in Algiers, the World Bank (WB) director of the Maghreb and Malta, Jesko Hentschel, on a working visit to Algeria, the Prime Minister’s office said in a statement.

 

The meeting was an “opportunity to exchange views on Algeria’s reforms and the positive results achieved in the diversification of the economy and the prospects of cooperation between Algeria and the World Bank, mainly in terms of exchange of experience and technical assistance in priority sectors in the government’s action programme, as part of the implementation of president of the Republic’s programme,” the statement said.

The meeting took place in the presence of the minister of Finance, Abderrahmane Raouya, the statement added.
