ALGIERS – Tuesday, 29 March 2022 (APS) – The special envoy for Western Sahara Issue and Maghreb Countries at the ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amar Belani, received Monday in Algiers a delegation of the “Western Sahara Intergroup of the European Parliament.”
Representing the ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, Belani received a delegation of the Western Sahara Intergroup of the European Parliament, led by Andreas Schieder, a member of Austria’s Socialist Party and former minister, the ministry’s statement said.
The two sides had “rich and fruitful discussions” on Western Sahara issue and “exchanged views and analyses on the latest developments in the region.”
