ALGIERS – Tuesday, 28 June 2022 (APS) – The Minister of National Education, Abdelhakim Belabed will partake in Transforming Education Pre‐Summit to take place at UNESCO headquarters on 29-30 June in Paris, said the ministry in a statement.
Belabed, who will head the Algerian delegation, will attend the opening of the ministerial meeting on June 29, under the slogan “Ambition for Transforming Education,” said the same source.
This ministerial meeting includes speeches, by video conference by the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN), Antonio Guterres and the Director-General of UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay.
The minister will participate in parallel meetings and round tables under the theme “Commitment to Transformation”, which will bring together the ministers of Education and Education of several countries.
On the sidelines of this pre-summit, the minister will meet with heads of delegations of brotherly and friendly countries.
