ALGIERS – Monday, 11 December 2023 (APS) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf visited the Algerian stand at the “Expo Doha-2023” Doha Qatar Horticultural, on the sidelines of his participation in the Doha Forum as representative of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, a statement from the ministry said on Monday.
The minister visited the various stands of the Algerian pavilion “where he received explanations, though pictures, on the various plant species that our country harbours, agricultural and horticultural techniques and methods of combating water shortages,” in addition to several works of craftsmanship and pictures of national monuments and tourist sites.
After thanking the staff of the stand, Attaf commended “their efforts and dedication in presenting the most faithful and expressive image of Algeria, with its glorious past, rich present and promising future.”
Attaf also visited the stand of the brotherly state of Qatar, where he “congratulated the Qatari officials on the great success of this international exhibition, which has highlighted the importance of communication, cooperation and the sharing of experiences for a sustainable future for all mankind.”
The minister also visited the stand of the brotherly state of Palestine “to express Algeria’s ongoing solidarity and constant support for the Palestinian brothers, in the face of injustice, aggression and repeated attempts to erase their identity and existence on their original homeland.”
