ALGIERS – Wednesday, 11 October 2023 (APS) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, travelled on Wednesday morning to Cairo, capital of the Arab Republic of Egypt, to take part in the work of the urgent ministerial meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States on Palestine, according to a statement issued by the ministry.
This meeting is being held at the request of the State of Palestine, in order to discuss the deterioration of the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, following the Zionist aggression against the Gaza strip, a request supported by Algeria, as well as by other brotherly Arab countries, the same source added.
