ALGIERS – Wednesday, 03 May 2023 (APS) – The minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, received Wednesday the speaker of Saudi Shura Council, Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, currently on a working visit to Algeria, the ministry said in a statement.
During the meeting, the two sides tackled Algerian-Saudi relations and the prospects for boosting them, as part of the preparation for the next bilateral meetings and the efforts to ensure a legal and an institutional framework for the bilateral cooperation in various areas, the statement said.
The two sides stressed the role of parliamentary diplomacy, “an important driver to enhance ties between the two sister countries and the two brother peoples.”
