ALGIERS – Thursday, 16 November 2023 (APS) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ahmed Attaf met, at the headquarters of the Algerian embassy in London, with a group of British economic operators and businessmen, who are members of the Algerian-British Business Council, as part of his working visit to the United Kingdom, the Ministry said Thursday in a statement.
In the presence of Lord Richard Risby, the Special Envoy of the British Prime Minister responsible for bolstering the economic partnership with Algeria, Attaf gave a presentation on the investment opportunities in Algeria and the main lines of the economic policy in terms of incentives and attracting foreign investments, the statement said.
The Minister highlighted the positive economic indicators recorded in light of the implementation of the economic reforms initiated by the President of the Republic, emphasizing the several preferential advantages that set Algeria apart at the African, Arab, and Mediterranean levels, the statement said.
