ALGIERS – Tuesday, 11 July 2023 (APS) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf has received a letter from his American counterpart, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, inviting him to make a working visit to Washington “as soon as possible, given the respective commitments of both parties,” said a Ministry press release on Tuesday.
“The visit will provide an opportunity to hold the sixth session of the Algeria-US strategic dialogue, as well as a more general assessment of the multidimensional cooperation between Algeria and the United States,” said the source.
In this regard, “particular attention will be paid to regional security, the fight against terrorism, the ever-developing economic partnership, as well as to the fields of culture and education, which are playing an increasingly important role in relations between the two countries.”
