ALGIERS – Wednesday, 25 October 2023 (APS) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf held talks Tuesday with his counterpart from the Netherlands, Hanke Bruins Slot, on the sidelines of his participation in the high-level meeting at the United Nations (UN) Security Council in New York.
“Talks between the two parties focused on developments in the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, particularly in the Gaza Strip, with emphasis on the role incumbent on the United Nations to halt the escalation and tackle the root causes of the conflict, in compliance with the resolutions of international legality,” said the source.
The two parties “also discussed relations between the two countries and upcoming bilateral events, including the expected visit of Hanke Bruins Slot to Algeria.”
