ALGIERS – Wednesday, 25 October 2023 (APS) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, held talks on Tuesday at the United Nations headquarters in New York with his Dutch counterpart, Hanke Bruins Slot, on the sidelines of his participation in the work of the high-level meeting of the Security Council, said the ministry in a statement.
“The two parties discussed the tragic situation caused by the Zionist aggression against civilians in the Gaza Strip, and shared details of the humanitarian aid provided by the two countries for the benefit of the Palestinian people, who are besieged and deprived of all means of subsistence and survival,” said the source.
In anticipation of Retno Marsudi’s visit to Algeria in December, the two ministers discussed a number of issues relating to the historic relations between the two countries, which are developing positively, the same source added.
