ALGIERS – Sunday, 24 September 2023 (APS) – The minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, on the sidelines of his participation in the works of the ministerial segment of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, held bilateral meetings with many of his counterparts, the ministry said Sunday in statement.
As part of his participation in the works of the ministerial segment of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, Ahmed Attaf, held Sunday in New-York bilateral meetings with his counterparts of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and the Republic of Namibia, the statement said.
Attaf also received the UK minister of State, Lord Tariq Mahmood Ahmad, the statement said.
The discussions focused on “the bilateral relations, their development prospects and a number of issues on the agenda of the current session of the United Nations,” the statement concluded.
