ALGIERS – Friday, 28 April 2023 (APS) – The minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, handed over a message from president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to his Nigerien counterpart, Mohamed Bazoum, the ministry said Thursday in a statement.
“The minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, arrived in Niamey, Niger, for a working visit as a special envoy of president of the Republic, as part of the strengthening of cooperation and solidarity and the enhancing of consultations and coordination between the two brother countries,” the statement said.
“The head of Algerian diplomacy was received in audience by President Mohamed Bazoum to whom he handed over a message from his brother President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.”
Attaf also conveyed to the President of Niger President Tebboune’s “fraternal greetings and full commitment to continue working with him to achieve their common aspirations to strengthen the historical ties between Algeria and Niger, and to establish an economic partnership beneficial to both sides and the entire region,” the statement added.
