ALGIERS – Tuesday, 24 January 2023 (APS) – Army General Said Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP) was received, Tuesday, on the second day of his official visit to France, by France’s Minister of the Armed Forces, Sebastien Lecornu, said the Ministry of National Defense in a statement.
“On the second day of his official visit to France, General Said Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army was received today, January 24, 2023, by Sebastien Lecornu, Minister of the French Armed Forces at the headquarters of the ministry where squares of the various French forces paid him the military honors,” said the source.
Subsequently, the Army General held “an extended meeting with the French Minister of the Armed Forces in the presence of Army General Thierry Burkhard, Chief of Staff of the French Armed Forces. The talks focused on ways to strengthen military and security cooperation relations between the two countries,” said the statement.
“The meeting culminated with the signing of a joint roadmap,” said the source.
The Army Chief of Staff signed the guestbook of the French Ministry of the Armed Forces.
