CAIRO – Wednesday, 05 October 2022 (APS) – The next Arab Summit of Algiers, scheduled for 1-2 November, will be “exceptional” and the unifier of the Arab ranks, affirmed the Arab Parliament on Tuesday.
The Arab Parliament made this announcement during the first session of the 3rd legislature at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo, under the chairmanship of Adel Abdulrahman Al Asoomi, the Arab Parliament’s chairman.
The Arab Parliament said it is convinced that the next Arab Summit of Algiers will be “exceptional” and will see the unification of the Arab ranks, at a decisive moment that requires strengthening the Arab solidarity in the region and the coordination of the joint Arab efforts to take up the challenges the Arab Nation is facing at all levels.
Reiterating the principles behind the Parliament’s positions towards the strategic issues of the Arab region, notably the Palestinian issue, the Arab Parliament reaffirmed its unchanging position in favor of the Palestinian people to end the iniquitous occupation, establish an independent Palestinian State with al-Quds as capital, stop the establishment of colonies and resolve the issue of refugees so that the Palestinian people could exercise all their legitimate rights in accordance with the decisions of the international legality.
