ALGIERS – Thursday, 30 November 2023 (APS) – Algeria Press Service Agency (APS) signed a cooperation agreement with the Russian news agency Sputnik on Thursday, with a view to exchanging media content and launching joint projects.
The agreement was signed by APS Director of Information, Rabah Hacini, and Director of International Cooperation at the Sputnik news agency, Vasily Pushkov.
The cooperation agreement will provide for the exchange of important information content concerning Algeria and Russia, and for the implementation of joint media projects aimed at mutually strengthening the agenda of both countries and covering joint events.
The two sides agreed to regularly exchange analytical data for in-depth, comprehensive coverage of current events in Algeria, Russia and the rest of the world.
The agreement also aims to strengthen cooperation in the field of new media, including news channels, social networks and online media.
The agreement also provides for the possibility of organizing joint online or on-site training sessions for journalists and technicians from both countries.
