ALGIERS – Monday, 03 July 2023 (APS) – Algeria Press Service (APS) agency and the Italian news agency Agenzia Nova signed Monday, in Algiers, a cooperation agreement on the exchange of news and media content.

The agreement was signed by the director general of APS, Mr. Samir Gaïd, and his Italian counterpart of Agenzia Nova, Mr. Fabio Squillante, in a ceremony held at the ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, on the sidelines of the 2nd Algerian-Italian Strategic Dialogue meeting, in the presence of the secretary general of the ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lounès Magramane, and his Italian counterpart Riccardo Guariglia.

In addition to the exchange of expertise and sharing of experiences, the two agencies agreed, through the agreement, on developing bilateral cooperation and enhancing collaboration.

The two agencies seek to carry out joint projects to develop the media space and ensure objective and professional coverage of the different events.

The agreement is also aimed at “strengthening information flows” and favoring mutual understanding, to contribute to the rapprochement of the peoples of the two countries and organize joint events.
