ALGIERS – Wednesday, 12 July 2023 (APS) – Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production Ali Aoun met Tuesday, in Amman (Jordan), with the members of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, the ministry said in a statement.
On the second day of his visit to Jordan, Aoun held bilateral discussions with the members of the Industry Chambers of Jordan and Amman, led by the president of the two Chambers, engineer Fathi Al-Jaghbir, added the source.
The discussions focused on the strengthening of the cooperation prospects between the two countries and ways to broaden and diversify them, said the source, pointing out that the two chambers’ members said they are satisfied at “the economic potentials” and “investment climate in Algeria which has experienced recently a qualitative leap thanks to the new law on investment.”
For his part, Aoun welcomed the Jordanian investors in Algeria, affirming that “choosing Algeria as a destination to invest is a wise choice that deserves to be encouraged,” said the source.
