ALGIERS – Sunday, 05 February 2023 (APS) – The second edition of the Inter-African Import-Export Fair “IMPEX 2023” will take place on 14-16 March at the International Conference Center “Abdelatif Rahal” in Algiers, the organizers announced Sunday in a statement.
This event of continental scope will be held under the patronage of the Ministry of Trade and Export Promotion, in partnership with the Algerian Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Trade (ALGEX).
According to the organizers, “IMPEX 2023” is a professional continental multisectoral event devoted to several sectors, namely industry, agriculture, food processing, fisheries and aquaculture, services, the craft industry, and tourism.
The event aims to showcase the products made in Algeria and mainly the ability of Algerian businessmen to develop and strengthen their presence on the African market. The launch of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is an opportunity for Algerian businessmen to expand their business networks in Africa,” said the source.
Algerian products for export will be exhibited in the three-day event that will allow Algerian and African economic operators to discuss business and partnership opportunities.
In addition, the event includes a technical seminar on the sidelines of the show, hosted by experts on relevant topics and current events. A digital B2B platform will be available to trade visitors wishing to make appointments with the top managers of participating companies.
