ALGIERS – Thursday, 29 September 2022 (APS) – Speaker of the People’s National Assembly (Parliament’s Lower House) Brahim Boughali said Thursday, in Algiers, that the Arab Summit scheduled for early November in Algiers will mark a “qualitative turning point” in the joint Arab action, particularly in favor of the Palestinian cause.

On the sidelines of the launch of the Parliamentary Network on Environment and Climate, Boughali noted, in a statement to the press, that the Lower House “works to raise awareness among all Arab parliaments about the issues  in the Arab world, in particular the Palestinian cause.”

“We are  supporting diplomatic efforts until the Palestinian factions reach a unifying agreement,” said Boughali, adding that the Palestinian cause “will weigh only if the Palestinians unify ranks.”
