ALGIERS – Tuesday, 21 November 2023 (APS) – The works of the Algerian-Turkish Economic Forum started on Tuesday evening, in Algiers, under the co-chairmanship of the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the Prime minister Nadir Larbaoui.
This forum, held under the slogan “For a Productive and Sustainable Economic Partnership”, is organized by the Algerian Chamber of Trade and Industry at the International Conference Center, as part of the official visit of the Turkish president to Algeria heading a large delegation.
This meeting, which brings together a large delegation of businessmen and company managers of the two countries, aims at giving fresh impetus to the economic partnership as well as exploring business and investment opportunities between the two countries.
In this forum, B2B business meetings are scheduled between the Algerian and Turkish company managers in several fields, including industry, energy, mining, renewable energy, public works and basic infrastructure.
The number of the Turkish companies in Algeria are around 1,550, with investments reaching $6 billion.
