ALGIERS – Saturday, 28 October 2023 (APS) – Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mohamed Abdelhafid Henni, supervized the closing session of the 11th Algerian-Russian governmental commission for economic, commercial, scientific and technical cooperation in Moscow (Russia) on Friday, which resulted in the signing of several agreements, according to a statement issued by the ministry.

On this occasion, Henni thanked the Russian government for the successful outcome of the session, which took place in an atmosphere of friendship and cooperation, according to the Communiqué.

This session enabled the two parties to make an overall assessment of the various aspects of bilateral cooperation in several fields.

In this regard, the Minister called for “the signing of the agreements that have not yet been signed, at forthcoming bilateral meetings.”

He also urged the delegations from both countries, as well as representatives of companies and economic operators from public and private sectors, to “implement all the joint recommendations with a view to launching new prospects for ambitious and fruitful cooperation.”

The 12th session of the Algerian-Russian governmental commission for economic, commercial, scientific and technical cooperation will be scheduled through diplomatic channels, according to the source.
