ALGIERS – Wednesday, 25 October 2023 (APS) – The speaker of the People’s National Assembly, Brahim Boughali, and the speaker of Tunisia’s Assembly of the People’s Representatives, Ibrahim Bouderbala, co-signed Wednesday, in Algiers, a parliamentary cooperation framework protocol between the two parliaments.

The speakers of the two assemblies agreed, by virtue of the document, to “exchange visits between parliamentary delegations, and legal documents and texts in force in the two countries, in addition to the organization of forums, training sessions and joint conferences.”

They also agreed to “hold regular meetings between the speakers of the two assemblies or the participating delegations in international fora.”

In addition, the two sides agreed to regularly exchange views on major issues on the international stage, promote friendship groups and share experiences on the good practices in terms of administrative, technical and financial management.
