ALGIERS – 26 October 2022 (APS) – Algeria has taken over the rotating presidency of the Arab Summit during the preparatory meeting of the Arab League Council at the level of permanent delegates and senior officials, whose works kicked off Wednesday at the International Conference Center (CIC) Abdelatif Rehal, in Algiers.
The ambassador Nadir Larbaoui, Algeria’s permanent representative to the United Nations, took over the presidency of the 31st Arab Summit, succeeding ambassador Mohamed Ben Youcef, Tunisia’s permanent delegate to the Arab League, whose country chaired the 30th session of the Arab Summit.
The works of the Arab League Council at the level of permanent delegates and senior officials, ahead of the Foreign Affairs Ministers’ meeting in preparation for the 31st Arab Summit, scheduled for 1- 2 November in Algiers, kicked off on Wednesday.
