ALGIERS – Sunday, 24 September 2023 (APS) – The minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mohamed Abdelhafid Henni, and Jordanian minister of Agriculture, Khaled Hneifat, expressed Saturday in Algiers their desire to carry out joint projects in the field of agriculture, mainly in Algeria’s south.
The two ministers were speaking at the Algerian-Jordanian Forum on Agriculture, organized by the National Chamber of Agriculture and co-chaired by the two officials.
The forum was held in the presence of Jordan’s ambassador to Algeria, the director general of the Algerian Agency for Investment Promotion (AAPI), Omar Rekkache, and managing officials at the ministry as well as Algerian and Jordanian economic operators operating in the agricultural field.
