ALGIERS – Friday, 29 September 2023 (APS) – The minister of Justice, Abderrachid Tabi, and his Italian counterpart, Carlo Nordio, inked Friday, in Palermo, Italy, and exchanged notes for the agreement on the extradition of criminals between the two countries, the ministry said Friday in a statement.
The signing and exchange of notes for the agreement took place during a meeting between Tabi and his Italian counterpart, on the sidelines of his participation in the international conference marking the 20th anniversary since the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC) came into force, and which opened Friday in Palermo, the statement said.
