ALGIERS – Monday, 23 October 2023 (APS) – Algeria has expressed full support for Saudi Arabia’s bid to host FIFA World Cup 2034, saying that it “firmly believes that the kingdom has all the factors to successfully and brilliantly organize this major world event,” the ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad said in a statement.
“Following the announcement by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), a sister country, of its bid to host the FIFA World Cup 20234, in view of the privileged fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, Algeria expresses its full support for the bid and firmly believes that the kingdom has all the factors to successfully and brilliantly organize this major world event,” the statement said.
Algeria “expresses its full support to the Kingdom to contribute to the success of the move and to allow it to proudly represent the Arab-Muslim Nation.”
