ALGIERS –Wednesday, 25 January 2023 (APS) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra had, on Tuesday, phone conversation with High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Josep Borrell, at the initiative of the latter, the ministry said in a statement.
“The discussions focused on the prospects to give new impetus to the partnership between Algeria and EU for the establishment of balanced and mutually beneficial relations,” said the source.
“The two officials also discussed regional issues of common interest, notably the crisis situations in the Sahel-Sahara region and in the Middle East,” according to the ministry.
