ALGIERS – Tuesday, 20 June 2023 (APS) – Algeria and Egypt stressed the need to boost their cooperation in the field of post and electronic communications on the occasion of Minister of Post and Telecommunications Karim Bibi Triki’s visit to Cairo, at the invitation of his Egyptian counterpart, Amro Samih Talaat, the ministry said Tuesday in a statement.
Bibi Triki, who has been in Cairo since Monday, held a bilateral meeting discussing “the mechanisms to enhance partnership and exchange experiences between the two friendly countries in related fields,” the statement said.
The fields mainly include “the regulation of communications, strengthening of communication infrastructures, the development of postal services and human resource capacity building.”
The two ministers also chaired an extended meeting on Algerian and Egyptian strategic projects in the post and electronic communications.
