ORAN (Algeria) – Thursday, 14 September 2023 (APS) – A businessmen meeting as part of the Algeria-China business forum, wrapped up Wednesday evening, in Oran, with the signing of 15 partnership agreements between Algerian and Chinese companies in several fields, including the building industry and telecommunications.

The agreements were signed at the end of five workshops on “Construction works, equipment and building materials,” “The steel industry and metal processing,” “Paper and cardboard and plastic packaging products,” “The manufacture of leather shoes and suitcases” and “Telecommunications,” according to Maghni Menaouer Sandid, the director of the fisheries and fishery products department of the provincial administration of Oran and the rapporteur of the workshops.

The agreements signed are relating to building industry, telecommunications, sub-contracting, electricity, in addition to pharmaceutical and processing industries, the official said.

The Chinese business managers who took part in the workshops received information on the Investment Code, as well as the benefits and facilitations to investors ‎in Algeria, he added.
