ALGIERS – Monday, 30 May 2022 (APS) – The 19th tradeshow for agro-food production “Djazagro” opened Monday, in Algiers, with the participation of exhibitors from 25 countries.
The event, to run until June 2, will see the participation of 500 national and foreign exhibitors, over an area of 22,000 m².
The tradeshow is an opportunity to exchange experiences and expertise between the participants, in order to develop agro-food industries in Algeria, and shed light on the possibilities and ways to set up food processing plants in Algeria and the different techniques used in the field.
Djazagro is also an opportunity for operators in the field to present their latest innovations and for the participating companies to sign agreements.
The economic event deals with five specialties, namely equipment and logistics (47 %), wrapping and packaging (27 %), food and beverages (7 %), raw materials and components of food ingredients (13 %), hotel catering and bakery pastry equipment (6 %).
