ALGIERS – Tuesday, 05 December 2023 (APS) – The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) has considered 124 foreign applications for investment in Algeria “ready for implementation,” including projects by major companies and multinational corporations, the director general of the AAPI, Omar Rekkache, said Tuesday.
The director general of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency told reporters, on the sidelines of the Algerian-Sweden business forum, that the projects would be registered with the agency and carried out as soon as the implementing texts of the law on the economic land were published.
“For the applications to be implemented, we are committed to ensure the required conditions, mainly as we will shortly launch a digital platform for the registration of economic land applications.”
In this respect, the head of the AAPI said the digital platform would be launched before the end of the first quarter of 2024.
