ALGIERS – Wednesday, 08 November 2023 (APS) – The Minister of National Education, Abdelhakim Belaabed met on Tuesday evening in Paris with Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergueï Riabkov, on the sidelines of his participation in the 42nd session of the General Conference of the United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO), said the Ministry’s communiqué.
“The Minister stressed that bilateral cooperation in the field of education and teaching will enable the consolidation of scientific expertise and the exchange of experience, highlighting the State’s interest in developing scientific and technological courses of study,” said the source.
For his part, Riabkov stressed “the importance of strengthening pedagogical cooperation between the two parties, working towards the exchange of expertise and scientific qualification between educational and teaching facilities, and supporting educational programs in the field of pedagogical qualification.”
