NIAMEY, Niger – Friday, 10 June 2022 (APS) – Niger received Friday 40 tonnes of Algerian medical aid as part of Algeria’s actions to boost partnership, solidarity and cooperation with the neighbouring countries.

The aid was delivered at Niamey international airport by the minister of Health, Abderrahmane Benbouzid, who was received by Niger’s counterpart, Idi Illiassou Mainassara, in the presence of Algerian ambassador to Niamey, Ali Drouiche.

Benbouzid added that “the donation came at the instruction and recommendation of president of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, as part of the strengthening of the special relations between the two countries and peoples.”
