ALGIERS – Saturday, 18 February 2023 (APS) – The 2nd International Conference on the Economic Intelligence opened on Saturday, in Algiers, in the presence of the adviser to the President of the Republic for Economic Affairs Yacine Ould Moussa and members of the government.
In his address at the opening of the Conference, placed under the aegis of Prime Minister Aïmene Benabderrahmane, under the theme “the new global challenges and the economic sovereignty, the economic intelligence as lever of industrial revitalization,” Minister of Industry Ahmed Zaghdar underlined that the holding of this event aims to “define ways likely to integrate the economic into the missions of the productive economic institutions in order to strengthen their resilience capacities and ensure the professionalization of staffs in charge of this task, through continued training and exchange of expertise, with the involvement of the scientific community based abroad.”
This Conference brings together more than 350 participants, including national and international experts, economic operators of the public and private sectors, in addition to researchers and university professors for an exchange of expertise and ideas on the implementation of the economic intelligence and strategic surveillance to deal with the new geopolitical and economic challenges.
Several workshops on the economic intelligence and the geopolitical framework, the economic intelligence and the industrial revitalization in Algeria, the economic intelligence and the economic efficiency, and also the expertise in the economic intelligence, will be held during this meeting which will culminate in practical recommendations that enable integrating the economic intelligence system in companies.
This two-day scientific event is meat to strengthen the role of the economic intelligence with the provision of strategic surveillance mechanisms, accompanies by an efficient information system in the industrial establishments, in order to promote the competitiveness of the industrial companies and strengthen their resilience.
