ALGIERS – Tuesday, 25 July 2023 (APS) – The 22nd International Tourism and Travel Fair (SITEV) will be held from 28 September to 1 October at the Exhibition Center, Pins Maritimes (Algiers), with the participation of various companies, according to a statement issued on Tuesday by the Ministry of Tourism and Crafts.
” The 22nd SITEV will be held from 28 September to 1 October 2023 at the Exhibition Centre (central pavilion), Pins Maritimes (Algiers), under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts,” the same source said.
This year’s event will be attended by “various companies and partners in the field of tourism and crafts, in particular government bodies, tourism and travel agencies, tourism operators, public and private hotels, craftsmen, financial institutions (banks and insurance companies), transport companies, associations and tourist offices, creators of tourism content and start-up promoters working in this field, as well as participants from several foreign countries,” added the same source.
SITEV, which is “one of Algeria’s flagship tourism events, provides an opportunity to promote Algeria as a tourist destination, especially as it coincides with the opening of the Saharan tourist season,” added the same source.
The event is also an opportunity “for Algerian and foreign operators, in particular tourist agencies, investors and hotel and tourist establishment managers, to exhibit their products and establish partnerships with various professionals and players in the tourism sector.”
Numerous conferences and study days are scheduled to take place during the exhibition, and will be led by local and international experts in the field of tourism.
