DUBAI (UAE) – Sunday, 15 October 2023 (APS) – More than twenty Algerian startups, supported by the public accelerator Algeria Venture, will take part in the North Star by GITEX (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition), one of the major world events devoted to technology and startups, to be held in October 15-18 in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
The delegation, made up of 25 startups represented by about sixty young entrepreneurs, will take part for the first time in the Expand North Star show, an event associated with and organized in the GITEX Global, under the theme Artificial Intelligence, in the 300m² Algerian pavilions, in the port of Dubai.
The participation in the event, held under the auspices of the ministry of the Knowledge Economy and Startups, through its accelerator Algeria Venture, will be an opportunity to promote Algeria’s innovation and the technological potential of Algerian startups, the general manager of Algeria Venture, Sidi Ali Zerrouki, told APS.
He added that the Algerian participation was part of the guidelines of the president of the Republic for the sector’s development and the support of young entrepreneurs, mainly by giving international visibility to them.
