ALGIERS – Thursday, 14 April 2022 (APS) – Algeria expressed Wednesday its full solidarity with the Republic of South Africa after the floods that hit the country, the ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad said in a statement.
“Algeria is following with deep emotion the ordeal of our brother people of South Africa through the deadly floods that caused loss of lives and significant material damage to the country,” the statement said.
“Algeria expresses its full solidarity with the Republic of South Africa and extends its most heartfelt condolences to the government, the people and the families of the victims in this sister country.”
“President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who is personally following the situation, stresses Algeria’s will to provide South Africa with all the necessary support in the spirit of the historical relations of fraternity, solidarity and mutual support between the two brother countries and peoples.”
