ALGIERS – Sunday, 24 April 2022 (APS) – President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune affirmed Saturday that any ministerial reshuffle must be “effective” for a quick implementation of the decisions taken during the Council of ministers.
During his periodic meeting with the representatives of the national press, President of the Republic broached the possibility of conducting a ministerial reshuffle, underlining that the expected objective is to reach effectiveness in the implementation of the decisions taken by the Council of ministers and during the government’s meetings.
Affirming that most of ministers “have good will,” he said that the experience “comes with practice and perseverance.”
Some ministers have “failed” their missions, he said, noting that the ministerial reshuffle, if it should take place, will be conducted “according to the results of every sector,” the norm is “the extent to which the decisions taken in the Council of ministers have been implemented.”
